    new build 2.0

You definitely made some good use of the available space inside that chassis, that's for sure. Robust water-cooling setup and still a ton of room for airflow... nice! I keep telling myself that I need to be less lazy and get hooked up with a WCing setup after seeing setups like these...

Wow, that might just work... what a simple scam.

Corsair AirFlow Pro Memory Temperature Monitor Review

Have a desire to add a bit of 'bling' to your PC, but fear being ridiculed for it? Well, there's no better excuse for bling than with Corsair's AirFlow Pro add-on for the company's AirFlow 2 memory cooler. In addition to offering a hypnotizing light-show, the AirFlow Pro can also keep you...

    EVGA offering good "BStock" deals!

EVGA seems to be offering some great deals at its site at the moment, though I'm not sure how long they'll last. GTX 580 for $430 and GTX480 for $300 catch my eye: http://www.evga.com/products/prodlist.asp?switch=20

ASUS Intros High-End Rampage III Black Edition Motherboard

Well the board in question is X58, not P67. It's a LOT easier to OC Sandy Bridge than it is Gulftown.

ASUS Intros High-End Rampage III Black Edition Motherboard

ROFL! That seriously struck me funny.

Sapphire Radeon HD 5850 Xtreme 1GB Review

It may seem odd that we're taking a look at an HD 5850 card in 2011, but Sapphire just released an "Extreme" edition that's well worth the look. In addition to great pricing, the card features an improved VRM design, a more efficient cooler, and a shorter PCB. But, in the end, it's the $150...

Cyber Snipa Sonar 5.1 Championship Gaming Headset Review

It wouldn't be surprising, since these look like re-badged Arctic Sound P531s. It's as though there's some mysterious company that produces these en masse and then sells them to any company that wants them, to customize and re-badge as their own. As seen in the review, though, despite the...

ASUS Intros High-End Rampage III Black Edition Motherboard

ALL mine! I sleep on defunct boards at night... I don't have a bed! * * Statement probably isn't true.

    new build 2.0

Haha, I can't help it! You can't tease a guy about putting high-end hardware into a beige chassis and not give some pics :D

ASUS Intros High-End Rampage III Black Edition Motherboard

It's not often that I notice an advertisement on our own website of a product I've never seen or heard of before, but in the case of ASUS' Rampage III Black Edition motherboard, I admit, I was caught off-guard. Why is there this great-looking motherboard being shown off, I thought, and we...

    new build 2.0

I'll respond later on this (apologies for being slack), but I do want to ask a simple question... PICTURES?! :D

    Borderlands GOTY

Wow... there has never been a better time to call something an "absolute steal". This is easily one of my top 10 games of all time.

Cyber Snipa Sonar 5.1 Championship Gaming Headset Review

Finding a gaming headset that offered 5.1 audio used to be a total rarity, but today, they're commonplace. While some 5.1 headsets out there don't do the best of jobs with delivering the aural experience we'd hope for, some do, if the driver alignment and software is spot-on. Read on to see...

The State of Overclocking on Intel Motherboards

Glad you liked it! And I agree on the black BIOS. I noticed that the new Rampage III Black Edition from ASUS also has one. Much cooler to look at hours on end when tweaking ;-)

Gamer Reaches Max Level in World of Warcraft Without Killing Anything

For someone who's hit level 85 on what I'm sure are a bunch of characters, I can understand the desire to so something drastically different. Most MMOs I play generally have much harder-to-obtain level caps, so I haven't quite gotten to that point yet. Heck, I just hit max level in my favorite...

WD Acronis True Image WD Edition Software

I'd be hard-pressed to see a revision halt an image restore. Rather, I'd have to assume it'd be related to some setting in the BIOS that isn't 1:1 with the new setup. AHCI is a bit one in this regard... in my experience it's been the biggest cause of problematic restores.

WD Acronis True Image WD Edition Software

Given that the motherboards are identical, there shouldn't be a problem at all. The HDD model doesn't matter, but if the new one happens to be larger, Acronis should give an option to expand the image across the entire drive. I've even used Acronis to reimage systems that had an entirely...

The State of Overclocking on Intel Motherboards

I'd like to think that I'm the kind of person who doesn't hold a grudge, but after bouts of unsuccessful overclocking runs with Intel motherboards in the past, I just about gave up. Until I decided to investigate further to see where things stood today. Have my opinions changed after...

    Could Gold-Farming Aid Poorer Nations?

We've talked a bit about MMO gold-farming in the past, taking a look at the practice from multiple points-of-view, but a recent article at BCC raises a couple of interesting points I didn't consider before. Such as the fact that gold-farming could provide aid to poorer nations taking part in the...
