    Anyone using IE7?

I run Firefox natively, but I do have the IETab extension. For those pages that don't play nice with FF; it saves a lot of time. I haven't tried IE7. I would hope the updated core and scripting will make it better, but I don't see myself updating unless I've got to.

15 Windows Explorer alternatives compared and reviewed

I've still got close to 1000 songs that need to be organized. Most of the titles are fine, but it's just relocating them to the correct artist, and folder that's the headache. I keep saying I'm going to work on it, but when I look at the mess I want to cry. So, for now, they're staying put.

AMDs acquisition of ATI near complete

Although this will benefit both companies, I'm kinda worried about the overall outcome in the computer market. Two main component companies getting together as one. It could get pretty strange in the tech world. In all reality, there's only 2 cpu producers, and two vga producers. You've got...

Hot Rods.. on a Tech Site?

I was being a bit sarcastic ;), but it's coming along fairly well! :D It's a ton better than what it was when I left. Having Cruisin' the Coast back in action has really raised the spirits around here. It's giving people hope that things life will return to normal, soon. It's good to see the...

Hot Rods.. on a Tech Site?

Once a year the people around these parts and other various states get together for what is called 'Cruisin the Coast'. People break out some of the best cars that have ever been built. I'm talking about the classics, muscle cars. For a whole week people gather at venues all along the Gulf...

    Spire Pininfarina

I like the look of this case. It does have a very clean look to it, and would make a fine desktop case. If I were to build pc's for a business this would be on my top 5 list. I think the simplicity, is what draws me to it. It seems to be designed very well on the inside too. The toolless...

I've been using www.xs.to lately. 1.5mb per picture limit, and 500 files max. Just another suggestion.

Stepping into the realm of SATA.

You're correct on both accounts. With my DFi I had to set the SATA as the booting hard drive. It's under a setting similar to your boot setup. I have 3 choices, ide, sata1, and add-in card or something. It's really easy to do. I don't know much about RAID so I can't help you there. I always...

    DFI LanParty UT NF590 SLI-M2R/G

First of all, I love the placement of those SATA ports. I think that's an excellent spot. The single ide plug makes sense with this being an enthusiast board. SATA is where the speed is, but it still leaves a plugin for CD/DVD drives. The bios issue is certainly strange, and not something...

Core Duo 2 -- No Ide

With SATA becoming more and more mainstream, I believe most will agree that IDE is on it's way out. SATA is more efficient, faster, and quickly becoming less and less expensive to make. This new board revision takes into account these factors and leaves IDE out completely. Not a bad idea, I think.

    SLI Water cooling suggestions

The Tidewater actually has some flaws to it. For one the mounting is questionable. The exhaust isn't the same size as a single pci bay opening, nor is it as big as 2 ports. This causes the hot air to circulate back into the case. It is one answer to water cooling your card(s), but it needs...

Now that's bragging voltage! Neat trick as well. I've only caught it a couple times.
