Yeah the 7800 and 7900 use the same cores I think. The 7900 cards are just the 7800 cards on steroids.

I played and first and just finished off the demo for BFME2 and loved it. I got the full version last week and can't to play it.

I'll try to get my hands on the Ultimate version or whatever the pro/best version is if they make a corporate edition of them. If no performance gain is made with games then I probably won't use it.

I wouldn't worry as that is normal for Intel chips as they run very hot. One big downside for Intel. If you want less noise chances are that stock cooler isn't gonna cut it especially since it uses temperture to adjust the fan speed. WC'ing is your best bet or a aftermarket cooler like...

I think S939 will be around for a year or more after all not everyone is gonna jump at the gun so to speak and buy an AM2 system. I hope that by using DDR2-800 as the standard performance will increase. The review samples could only use DDR2-667 and performance compared to a S939 was the same...

I have an Asus A8N-E rev2 board and it is very stable and OC's quite will but this board has a 1T bug which hasn't been fixed as of yet. Basically you with this bug you can't OC'd your memory past 240-250MHz @ 1T without getting errors, lock-ups, and anyother thing that makes your system hate...

I owned that MSI board and it perform and OC's really well. But for more memory settings and probably a little better at OC'ing go with DFI. All I can tell you with the MSI K8N Neo Platinum board I can get to 300HTT with ease.

I currently have an Acer 17" LCD and find it ok/good. I guess some people get bad experiences.

Adding another 512MB for a total of 1536MB should give you a good jump in performance as this your system won't be using virtual memory very much or at all depending on what you are using your computer for.

Damn that is freakin sweet. I hope to get another GTX in the future for SLi and add an Opteron 165 or 170.

My GTX idles around 38c and load temps are around 47-50c. It stays quite cool I must say.
