LOL On the other machine, I created a fold called ICONS, and drag and drop most ot the shortcuts to that, to clean up the desktop. SO when I want to use one, I open the ICON fold ( on desktop ) and use that to launch the program. Merlin

The L2 cache is what I look at, the Wolfdale has 6mb cache and I see the new Core 2 Quad have 12mb. Also with hard drives, I look at the cache and speed. And the Q9550 at or around 500.00 is a lot better price than the big brother Quads. Merlin

I have the older TV Wonder card that will not pick up the HD channels, so This ( 650 ) just might be a good investment. My only thought is my HD channels come in at 803 to 897 on Comcast. ( And you can get HD from the coaxial input? ) Merlin

YEah, I can save 4 profiles on the EVGA 780i board. Tonight I'll set up the AMD machine with the m2n32 Asus board and try the setup again.......I also have the Gentoo amd64 iso, I might try as well if Ubuntu gives me more problems. I just wanted to see a different OS system..... Merlin
