OCZ Technology To Discontinue Memory Products

I read that memory sales accounted for only 22% of their net revenue in the 3rd quarter. You can't help but agree with their decision.

ASRock Transformer - More Than Meets The Eye?

The only real improvement with this would be storage since the extra PCI-E lanes are jacked wide open. Chip performance stays the same really with likely no real world performance gain.

Alright, I need to learn how to OC

Luckily the Phenom II that TheDarkStarr is sporting is a C3 so there -should- be more overclocking headroom left although I'm not sure how much.

Samsung Develops the First 30nm DDR4 DRAM

When I mentioned the increased performance with the P67 chipset I was mostly thinking along the lines of any performance gain from the memory controller being moved onto the CPU die resulting in reduced latency. That's assuming there is any real world gain. Couple that with responsiveness...

    GIGABYTE at CES 2011

Boo on no UEFI! Damn good looking motherboards though!

Sapphire to Launch Two High End Motherboards

I thought they did away with that after they were slammed on just about every forum?

Sapphire to Launch Two High End Motherboards

I'm not sure what they were thinking release a X58 board so late in the game but the option was there to view LGA1366 models yesterday only the page would not load. They must have been in the process of building it. The X58 model has already sprung up on another site for review the same day...

OCZ Technology To Discontinue Memory Products

I know the company isn't going anywhere but OCZ was the first performance memory that I ever bought and since then I have owned two more kits, all of which overclocked well and didn't give me even so much as a hiccup. Well done guys!

    AMD CEO Dirk Meyer Resigns

I caught wind of this late yesterday and you beat me to the punch. It'll be interesting to see who takes over and what way they take the company. I'm all about AMD's GPU's but the only thing I really like about their CPU's is the fact that AMD actually values backwards compatibility although...

    Intel's Sandy Bridge Revealed: Core i5-2500K & i7-2600K Reviewed

Not a bad looking board, Misha but it's missing a 2nd PCI-E slot...you never know when you might trip over a 2nd card.

    Intel's Sandy Bridge Revealed: Core i5-2500K & i7-2600K Reviewed

I'm not sure there are any bad P67 motherboards at this stage in the game unless you run into issues due to an immature BIOS. I've been checking up on them and they look awesome!

    Intel's Sandy Bridge Revealed: Core i5-2500K & i7-2600K Reviewed

Yep. That's why it's a K series chip or nothing if I go for P67. I think the highest I have seen is 3.7 with Turbo kicking in. Why stop there when I could tack an extra gigglehurtz onto that?

    Corsair at CES 2011

Looks like a HS1A review should be cooked up if possible, especially since a comparison can be made. DING, DING! USB VS. 3.5mm! The floggin' in my noggin'! Where's Don King when you need him?

What Are You Looking Forward to Seeing from CES 2011?

I'm sure going from west to east doesn't help much either. Glad to have you back safe and sound. Remember though, what happens at CES, stays at CES. :p

ASRock Transformer - More Than Meets The Eye?

I was floating around checking out videos and I came across one that had an interview with a marketing rep from ASRock who said that this board only support Windows 7 due to the hoops they had to jump through in order to support the previous generation of processors so if you're looking at this...

    Intel's Sandy Bridge Revealed: Core i5-2500K & i7-2600K Reviewed

It'll be a miracle if I can pull off a tick and a tock in the same clock cycle so another tick with Ivy Bridge is unlikely. With what I have planned for a Sandy Bridge build should last me for quite some time so unless Ivy Bridge is a ZOMG platform I'll likely skip it. ***EDIT: Gah! $214...
