    Show off your video card!

I like the molded tops myself, I have both the APOGEE and MCW60 with molded tops................;) As a matter of fact, I also have the Storm CPU block and with both CPU and GPU water cooled, I get better performance using the APOGEE and MCW60 than I did when I tried the Storm with the MCW60.

Corsair Unveils the World’s Fastest Production DDR2 and DDR1 RAM

Don't feel bad madmat, I'm not a big fan of Corsair ram either. I do use several of their other products, but not their ram. Not the best for AMD systems IMHO, they are over hyped.

Proposed hardware with an eye to OC - What do you think?

DFI MOBo if you're looking for the MAX OC, if you're only looking to get into OC'ing a bit the board you picked is just fine. As for the ram, I'm looking at the new OCZ stuff that's just coming out, DDR500 2 gig set with low timings...

    Arctic Cooling Accelero X1

Good review of another great Arctic Cooling product. If I were to go back to air cooling I would go bak to the Arctic Cooling Silencer serise of video card coolers. I had/have one of the first VGA Silencers that I use on my 9800Pro for a long long time, so if the new ones last as well as the old...

    Anybody going Dual Core?

As soon as I get the extra cash I plan on a X2 or a dual Opty (165 or 170). I'm basicly waiting till the AM2's come out and the prices to drop a bit more first.

    Thumb Drives

I've got 3, Corsair, X-Micro and some no-name I got as a gift from a old Army buddy.............;) I use them all the time when I go to my sons house to download large files (I'm extremely bandwidth limited). Couldn't ask for a easier way to transfer data and files.

Converting an internal into an external harddrive... possible?

External cases are easy to find and cheap............;) I switched one of my old PATA drives over into one a while back for backing up the other machines in the house. When I'm finished, the drive is unplugged and truned off keeping everything safe.

Wow there are so many mobos...

DFI UT LanParty NF4 Ultra (don't care about SLi....... ). The board has every option in the world for OC'ing. So you can get every bit of performance out of you system. The board is rock stable if setup correctly as are most boards, but they can get picky if not tuned just right. Second...

    Extra 120mm front fan.

LOL..............True, that's exactly what I used when I had my Lian-Li, all blue......;) 2 in the front, 2 in the rear, 1 in the top and 1 in the base. That was one blue blus system.

    Extra 120mm front fan.

Wouldn't it be easier to just replace your 80mm with a 120mm fan. Less wiring and power connections makes for better air flow............;)

    my new beasty

I've still got the case, but all the parts have been installed into a internal system now. With a normal mid-tower, I liked this external system much better as it left me a ton of room to work inside the computer case. But sometimes hauling a extra case around just for cooling can be a...

    Extra 120mm front fan.

I've already got a bag full of nylo spacers for this purpose, I used them whem mounting the fans in my cube. All I really need to do is get off my butt and start the project.

    Extra 120mm front fan.

I thought about that, but the mesh I have is very heavy guage and prety hard to work with, It's the same stuff that's on my cube, I may give that a try though................:)

    Extra 120mm front fan.

I've got another case I need to do the same thing to, but the front isn't mesh on it and it also has a door. At least the door is vented so I only need to figure out a way to make it pretty behind the door.
