I don't really see any need to actively cool video card RAM. As Rob said, nVidia choose not to cool the GDDR3 on the 7900s not because they wanted to save some money but because it wasnt needed. I wouldnt count this cooler out on that fact alone.

I have 2 Seagate 250GB drives and a pair of Raptors. Raid 1 for the storage and Raid 0 for the boot drives. I also have a 160 GB Seagate P-ATA drive for back up. That 410 GB of storage is more than enough for me. Sort of.

You cant go wrong with any cooler by Zalman. Also, the Arctic Cooling Silencer line is a good way to go as well. I would check for compatability with the NV Silencer and your XT. I have owned both companies coolers and they are by far the tops when it comes to VGA cooling.

The remote could be better in that it could be a bit more responsive when not pointed directly at the Avox. I did however have good luck with the distance. I was able to get about 25 feet away before it started to crap out. All in all though, I loved the Avox.
