You're better off running a 2x1gig kit, the GSkill that I recommended to Madstork is really good and is compatible with the DFI boards, plus it's $60 cheaper than the Corsair kit. the reason I say to go with 2X1 rather than 4X512 is that your board will only run 4 sticks at 2T command rate...

The Montego most likely scored a 7 due to having no hardware acceleration for gaming. The sound is every bit as good as the Envy 24 based cards and better than a first generation Audigy.
