Do all 780i chipsets get THIS hot?

I don't mind XFX, I've gotten good support from them in the past, but their RMA's do take a lot longer that the others for the most part.

    Missouri Floods.

No problem laughing, even with all the flooding I laugh at some of the fools that aren't smart enough to get out of the way of a flood or so stupid that they think that they can drive through the high water, that kind of thing happens a few times every day.

Do all 780i chipsets get THIS hot?

I never had a problem with ram on a Nvidia based board, but I always kept the voltage down below the cooking point and ran great air flow. But there are those that have had issues, don't know what caused it though.

Intel X48 Motherboards to Show Up This Week

I don't remember seeing 1333 at C5 either, but I'm currently running my Kingston at C6 which isn't to bad, but with the funky deviders on my MSI board its running slightly under 1333 as well, but close enough I guess. Kingston stuff one step better than what I have...

First pictures of Intel's Bloomfield motherboard

Board looks ATX to me, but with a picture its hard to say. I don't mind the memory up high like that, that design worked well for DFI with the Nvidia based S939 boards.

    Missouri Floods.

Down in most of the flatlands thats exactly what they are using. But in most areas the current is so fast and there's so much garbage in it, if you get hit it can kill .

700MHz Auction Ends at $19.5 Billion

All they did (Google) was force the others to beat their bid and exceed the 4.6 minimum requirement........;) I guess the big telco's just couldn't stand Google walking away with a piece of the pie, but now they have to let Google use it anyways...............:) You did notice that it didn't go...

Picking out a 30-inch monitor is truly a chore!

Dell and Gateway are the prime players in the size that you are looking at as far as I know. There are others, but I'm not at all sure how they compare to them, I giess I should do a little research on the topic and see just what I can dig up.

700MHz Auction Ends at $19.5 Billion

Doesn't really matter who won the big chunk, the reserve for open access was met so who ever won has to let all the other types of devices use the band width, which is mainly what Google was in it for,,,,,,,,,,;) The other companies fought the open acess rules down to the end, even going to...

    What Memory for Gigabyte M57SLI-S4?

Some from what I read depending on what you do with the rig. I've heard that the new cores can improve overall performance by up to 15% over the Conroes, again depending on the type of app. But I don't think that you'll notice a big difference in everyday use from a end-user standpoint, a...

    Ubunu 7.10

The new Ubuntu 8.04 Beta is out as of today, the Alpha 6 release was real stable from what I understand, so if you don't mind playing with Beta software, you might want to give it a try.
