    MTV rocks

I can't remember who it was but a celeb was interviewed by MTV or Much Music and asked why they don't play music anymore.

When games reflect reality and remind us we are human

lol @ Mario! ^5! Gearbox is pretty much a bunch of gamers making games for other gamers so it's not surprising that they do this. Plus a little bit of extra work and they've endeared themselves to gamers for a very long time to come. That's smart business from a bunch of crazy, stand up...

    BF3 long load times fix...

Ultra at 1680x1050 at 32 FPS is doable on my rig in single player mode but the load times are pretty steep.

    BF3 long load times fix...

My load times (separate Caviar Black drive with my gaming partition closest to the spindle) are up there pretty good but I figured it was the nature of the beast given the crazy amount of data that has to be loaded in comparison to Bad Company 2. I'll give it a try tonight and see.

    ASUS X79 Motherboard Preview

Maybe an 8-pin connection would be overkill on a board that is equally so? Hehehe. The black box next to the SATA ports is the LED display that shows status codes on POST/boot.

    ASUS X79 Motherboard Preview

I agree, marfig. You can't count out air coolers because they do offer a level of security for some folks who don't want to put liquid near their components but forward compatibility is likely to be an issue with this new design. All the more reason to make the jump to an all-in-one liquid cooler.

    ASUS X79 Motherboard Preview

I'm a big fan of GIGABYTE but ASUS boards are in a league of their own and these look so boss (yes, I used the term boss) that I can't pick which I like more, the Sabertooth or the Rampage.

The State Of Western Digital Overseas & Here At Home

Just imagine if this were thousands of acres of crops or scores of animals used for food and not PC hardware. If something like that ever happens I think that this instance is an idea of what it would be like.

    Orcs Must Die! Review

I'm glad I review cases and such. Here it is, here's what it can do, here's how it did. I don't have to be this observant. :p A very nice first review indeed. If I needed something to fill the BF3 void I'd likely grab this game.

OCZ Launches Indilinx "Everest"-Powered Octane SSDs

This might be a welcome addition to those who are wary of jumping into the Sandforce pool (like myself) after all of the 2281 problems that I've been reading about. Too bad they start at 128GB. I only need a 60GB drive for my OS and must have applications.

Antec Soundscience Halo 6 LED Bias Lighting Kit Review

I'm all for admitting when I'm wrong but I can't help but counter rudeness with rudeness, which is what I take away from your post, GTVic. First, an in-line power switch would "likely" violate the cable standard? So you don't know for certain then. A quick romp through the white pages for...
