I know for me that any sort of emulation was not even part of my purchase thoughts since I already have the latest version PS2 that my kids use. For me, my PS3 was mainly for my use and Blu-Ray abilities.

I never liked emulators, they never seem to perform even decent.

Yeah, anything over 1.4V for 24/7 use is WAY too much. These CPU's cannot handle the voltage like the 65nm cousins.

PC gaming will never die, but you will see less and less titles for the PC as consoles are far better at some games. Sports games are a perfect example. Driving games are 50/50 but RPG and the like are always going to be superior on the PC.
