    en7950gt...below expectations...

Look around and you'll find killer deals on used DDR in larger forums. It's getting to be like PC100/133 was after the mainstream switch to DDR came about, cheap as dirt as people stop using it. You could likely pick up PC4000 DDR for around $100 for a 2-Gig kit which isn't that bad and I've...

Got enough space to make a new partition and dual boot? Just as an experiment?

    en7950gt...below expectations...

It could be the driver you're running, it could be the OS is running with too much overhead, I dunno. The card should give you more than that though so something isn't right.

Putting my rad in the TJ09

On air I was getting a max stable ram OC of 25Mhz effective (12.5Mhz DDR) and with the Ramcools I'm hitting 783Mhz (net gain of 58Mhz effective or 29Mhz DDR) in SLI. In single card I was hitting 810 stable for 85Mhz or 42.5Mhz DDR gain. As to temps, measured on the sides of both blocks (my temp...

I don't like that it's only available through one carrier. Why on earth hobble your product that way?

Actually it's the UK, she's a student in the UK and works for a dealership there.

Would you buy a car from this woman?

In the face she looks very young, so, no I would take a pass. I'd rather buy a car from someone older and more mature. Not that I'm ageist but I'm in a different demographic than she is age wise and I'd rather deal with someone that understood my needs and concerns by being in the same age group...

Asus EN7950GT (not ghost recon edition)

PCIG cables are 6 pin not four and you'll either need to use a molex to 6 pin adapter or get a new PSU. What are you using now BTW?

Asus EN7950GT (not ghost recon edition)

It should be fine, just be aware that if one card is clocked slower than the other the drivers will lower the clock of the faster card to match the slower card.

    Elixir DDR 400

Elixir is horrible ram. It makes great fishing sinkers but lousy ram. I worked at a computer shop and we got in several shipments of Elixir ram that had a failure rate of greater than 50%. It sucked so bad that we actually got to the point where we'd ask who the OEM was for the chips and if they...
