    NVIDIA GPU Physics close...

They got their logo a lot of places. Didn't make the card any more purchasable. With NVIDIA making the 8 and 9 series of GPUs PhysX capable by a simple download is incredible. This is what Ageia needed... well, if they were still independent that is. I think this is going to be good down the...

    Whats your job?

Where do you all work? I am currently a network admin at a beer and wine distributor. Oh, and I write for slave driving Rob. What do you do?

    NVIDIA GPU Physics close...

This is huge news for in-game physics. With NVIDIA's muscle, this could really jump start the "revolution."

Seagate Savvio 15K - Next Gen Enterprise Drive?

Surely it will come with at least a few cables. I cant imagine it not. Looks like a good card. Adaptec makes good controllers so you should be happy.

Believe it or Not, Windows XP Has a Passionate Fanbase

It's lightweight relative to today's needs. It was a hog just the same back when it first came out... then again, my first laptop in college was a used PII 366 MHz. I paid $100 for it and it ran XP with 128MB. Maybe it wasn't so demanding after all.

Believe it or Not, Windows XP Has a Passionate Fanbase

Think about it. Prior to Windows XP, users were forced to reboot their machines almost daily. I know 2000 was out but most didn't use it. For the typical user the upgrade path started at 95, ran through 98 and ME and ended in XP. (2000 was/is a great OS) XP was the first mainstream OS that...

    Ram Test Problem

Did you by chance try other RAM? Perhaps something completely different than what you have tried already? Try it in different slots? What about disconnecting the new hard drive and trying it again.

$399 LEOPARD OS X COMPUTER, but for HOW LONG?

I think thats the first sensible, intelligent comment I have read of yours. I would love it if they offered their OS in box form, open for all with compatible hardware to install (everyone now that Steve is in bed with Intel.) Good call.

Smells like a lawsuit. Stinks really.

    D-Link DGL-4500 Xtreme N Gaming Router

I'd like to add something to this review... It was mentioned that the OLED screen turns off after a few minutes. I would like to not only see greater control over what this display...err, displays, but I would like to be able to create my own information. We can do this with screens like the...

Thermaltake BlacX Hard Drive Docking Station

This happens all of the time. Company A manufactures product X. Either the rights to Product X are sold or the patent eclipses and isn't renewed, opening the flood gates for any other company to take the idea and run with it. This looks like a useful product indeed. I might order one just to...

    Linksys Router

Haha. It's always good to at least read the release notes on your hardware when an updated firmware comes out. Sometimes it fixes known issues and sometimes it's trivial upgrades. In your case, clearly it was something that was holding back performance! Good going. Nothing like something...

ASUS Unveils "Essentio" CS5110 Mini-Desktop PC

Look at the upgradeable parts. If you start adding on a C2D and a Blu Ray drive, your getting into some higher end pricing. The great thing about the Eee is that it's cheap and portable. What is in it for me except for some decent styling... and there are better HTPC out there at that! This...

TRENDnet TEW-637AP Wireless N Access Point

Are you looking for USB or would an internal, PCI or PCI-E adapter work just as well? Is there anything located between your home and your workshop? Power lines above, circuit panel on the wall close by? Cordless phone base near by? To address your last post, if your connecting to the SSID...

    22" 3D Monitor?

Zalman has a pair of monitors with the same functionality. We played around with them for a while at CES but left kind of confused. I personally never got a headache but have heard of others experiencing discomfort after a while. Interesting technology but nothing that really interests me.

    SteelSeries 3H and 4H Headsets

My 5H v2 headphones are starting to do the half work half don't thing too. It's shitty wiring at the jack itself. A little wiggling and it works again. I am in the market for a pair of Ultrasones now I think since these Steel Series headphones are taking a crap on me... that and when I...
