Surprise: People are pissed off about Rogers iPhone plans

You guys outside the US just don't know the entire scope of how well you have it. I am American and moved to Canada 4 years ago. Prices are higher for everything here. Even with the Canadian dollar at the same level as the US dollar, prices have only gone up. Taxes are outrageous as well...

CPU Cooler Roundup - 22 Models Tackle Our QX6850

That baffles me considering just how well it did in testing. I hope they have a better replacement ready otherwise they are not a contender in the high end air market with any of their other coolers.

AMD Tunes Back In with All-In-Wonder HD

Hybrid crossfire is probably slower than a single HD3650. No reason to care about it. I run it and honestly, the gain is sooooo small it is more trouble than it is worth.

    Waving Good-Bye to Bill Gates

If you ask me, Microsoft will stagnate more than innovate without him driving the bus. He IS the reason we have Windows the way we do. People can jab all they like, but this makes me even more believe that Vista will be older than XP before it is replaced.

CPU Cooler Roundup - 22 Models Tackle Our QX6850

It is a GO revision, but it does run hotter than most any other G0 revision CPU I have seen. Add to that it needed 1.4125V for 3.67GHz stable and all that copper surrounding the socket to cool the V-Regs and Moffsets, it's no wonder it was warm. As a side note, I did run a Swiftech Apogee...

Want the Largest HTPC Chassis Ever? Lian Li's Tyr X2000 Is For You

I fail to comprehend how this chassis can be called a HTPC chassis.

    9800gx2

EVGA requires you to submit a copy of the original receipt before they will RMA or step-up too.

    9800gx2

Actually, it still is not transferrable in any way. EVGA will only offer the warranty to the original purchaser when they register it with their receipt within 90 days. If you wait more than that, the warranty gets cut down to a year. You have to have an original receipt from an official...

    9800gx2

EVGA's warranty is only applicable to the original owner. It is not transferable to the new owner. Very common misconception. The only way for the card to be covered under warranty is to be sent back to the original owner first and they would have to RMA it.

Upgrading from 2GB to 4GB. Questions!

Most 32-bit operating systems will use up to 3.3-3.5GB of ram. It greatly depends on teh peripherals in your system. A 512MB video card takes that much off the top and other components can also take some. SLI/Crossfire will also take double since there are 2 video cards. It is still worth it...

Has Nvidia made the PhysX PCI card worthy???

You missed my point. I am not talking about the graphics card doing the physics. I am talking about all those PCI based Phys-X cards out there that were relegated to obscurity by lack of game development. What I want to know is if those cards are now actually worth more than their weight in...

Has Nvidia made the PhysX PCI card worthy???

Well guys, what do you think? Now that the current Nvidia lineup includes built in Ageia PhysX technology, are there going to be games coming to finally support the PCI PhysX cards properly as well? Does this make these cards actually worth something again? I am really intrigued by the...

NVIDIA Prepares to Launch 9800 GTX+ Next Month

LOL!!! Yeah, that was out of hand. I do agree that Nvidia has the beastliest (is that a word?!?) offerings, but with nothing being able to use that power, what is the point? It's like overclocking an Intel Quad to 4GHz. Sure it is fast and super powerful, but what if anything even uses all...

NVIDIA Prepares to Launch 9800 GTX+ Next Month

MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! That is the sound of the Nvidia cow getting milked AGAIN. This card is sad, even with the change to 55nm. How much longer are they going to milk the market?

NVIDIA Announces GTX 260 and GTX 280 Graphic Cards

Honestly, I am just the opposite. I fully understand these cards and they are no more expensive than the 8800GTX when it was released. They are certainly the nastiest things on the planet for a single GPU card. In fact, I also do not understand the mostly negative response to these cards on...

NVIDIA Announces GTX 260 and GTX 280 Graphic Cards

Welcome to the big leagues he says......... Welcome to spending far too much on PC parts to play games, that is my answer to that. Seriously, your statement is so out of touch. There is no way 99% of the world can afford two of those cards and a 30" LCD. Your talking $1K for a decent 30" LCD...

NVIDIA Announces GTX 260 and GTX 280 Graphic Cards

You go from site to site and the reactions to this card are dramatic and all over the place. I for one thing it is grossly overpriced and is more a toy for benchmarking than anything. Far too hot and power hungry as well. It is a performance beast, but when we really see what the 4870's can...
