    ScrewAttack Top 10 NES Games

I haven't played faxanadu in a long while, though I would often use the infinite elixir trick in the beginning of the game for quick and rich levelling. ^_^ That game was great. The whole Tree of Life part still sticks out in my mind as one of the most fun areas of any game I've ever played.

    Nigerian Man Builds Homemade Helicopter

Oh, so -that- one wasn't an investment scam. Poor nigerians, a few bad emails and their entire country becomes distrusted. That's pretty awesome, but I'd rather have the whirlybird from the A-team that you can fold up and put in your trunk.

Another BitTorrent Tracking Site Bites the Dust

Free exchange of knowledge has its drawbacks, especially for those who have relied on copyright law and the enforcment thereof for their livelihoods. Unfortunately, there isn't any universal method to stop piracy of this nature, as the concept of being able to copyright an 'intellectual...

The Ridiculously Tedious HL2: Episode Two Achievement

Babysitting a lawn gnome... That's an achievement even Jack Thompson could endorse.

    FutureShop of Horrors.

This is my favorite part. That means anything that has an expiration (like a weekly flyer) or anything with 'while supplies last' on it is disqualified, even if it comes from a 'competitor'.

    ScrewAttack Top 10 NES Games

My wife bought me Captain N: The Game Master for our 6th anniversary. Duck Tales Faxanadu Legend of Zelda 2 Mega Man 3 (Damn that Top Spin!) Super Mario Bros 2 Super Mario Bros 3 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 Tetris Yo! Noid Willow

SPOILER: HARRY POTTER. youve been warned.

No doubt Scholastic advised her to keep it under wraps... Controversy in this case would not have helped sales as many parents are still very conservative in what they would buy as reading materiel for their children. Wonder if Jack Thompson or Pat Roberts will pick this up! Maybe even a book...

    Yet Another AGEIA Killer-App Delayed

Aegia physics weren't necessary in City of Villains, but I wouldn't have as much love for that game without them. When everything can be moved/blown up, etc. it just makes the game that much better. (And that game hardly touched what the PhysX can really do)

Xbox 360 Exhibits Impressive Sale Figures For September

Don't get me wrong, I've loved the Xbox ever since they unveiled their development team (consisting of many big names from the SEGA Dreamcast release). I'm just curious as to how they're going to fare in this lineup, as I'm a bit anti-Sony (even though they get my favorite games - RPGs), and...

Xbox 360 Exhibits Impressive Sale Figures For September

Kids, old people, and with the upcoming release of Manhunt 2, Microsoft's target audience. Still, I doubt it will be the end, and I try not to take sides in the Console Wars (largely due to my fanboi'ism for Xbox's development staff sticking it to Sony).

Xbox 360 Exhibits Impressive Sale Figures For September

I don't expect that any more than I expected Nintendo to pull the GameCube. The console doesn't die just because it slips behind the competition, that would be suicide for the line, but in real terms of competing markets it can become a strain on the company and take the same place as the...

Xbox 360 Exhibits Impressive Sale Figures For September

Undecided. XBox sales won the month due to the release of Halo 3, in order to keep moving the console they will have to continue the trend of exclusive titles that will result in hardware purchases as well as games. It's something that was once Nintendo's model, back in the days of N64 and...

Bionic Commando To Return To PC, Xbox 360 & PS3

I liked the way that Ocarina of Time used the Hookshot, and I'd expect the Bionic grappler will be similar. Hoping that's the case, because it is one of my favorite childhood games! Very happy that it's on the PC.

Madstork: FFVII album, Another shameless plug.

BTW: I finally went to The Black Mages site at squenix and listened to the two tracks there, I'm sold.

    BioShock Activation Revoke Tool Released

Wow. Photoboy really does sum it all up very nicely. I finished bioshock, then proceeded to do a reformat (which my computer desparately needed considering I hadn't reformatted since I got it with Win2k Pro Installed, two OS upgrades later, it was time for a reformat).

    Crysis Beta

*gasp* Not like Bioshock? Nah, I can understand that. Crysis looks great and my views are skewed due to the fact that I haven't enjoyed a FPS (other than bioshock) since the turn of the millennium. Then again, I've always been a story-driven rpg-style gamer; the gameplay is there to...

    Talisman 4th Edition Releases Today!

The game is not for everyone, but if you grew up in the heady days of TSR and Games Workshop, it's not one to be missed. My wife and I have been playing the 2nd Edition for a decade (her brother's copy) and she'll be recieving this edition (which she doesn't know exists) for our 6th...

RIAA Awarded $222,000 in First Jury Trial

My favorite part of this horrendous abuse of the legal system by a corporate entity against a citizen was the following: Be afraid, be very afraid... boogah boogah! Madstork: Most of the money they make on this is through settlements, that's how they finance their legal division, scaring...
