I think it depends on the in-game ad. A Coca-Cola billboard in a racing sim? No problem. A 2 minute spot for Listerine while loading the next level of Bioshock? Pushing it. Constant streaming audio pushing everything from pizzas to tampons? Never!

A friend of mine runs DX10 Bioshock on his 8800GT card. I run mine on DX9 with a 7600GT... I'm nowhere near close to the level of detail this game is capable of... and it's still one of the nicest looking games I've ever seen.

I wonder if I was the 4 millionth. I'd never tried it before, got one of the demo disks, and purchased Nightfall. Loving it so far, and I'm a big NCsoft fan, playing both City games and Lineage off and on.

I love this game even though it hates my AC97 codec onboard sound. Excellent story and gameplay, best game of the year so far. NOT for children or the squeamish.

I do wonder how many of the signups are multiples, though making people upload their DxDiag.txt files might cut down on that. Still waiting on my beta as well, though a lot of people in my PvP guild are in.

The ads really aren't that bad, easily ignored and beats paying $10 for each of the awesome titles (that are now in bargain bins)!
