I do have a cpu meter on my G13/G19 and watch it while playing games and when I had my AMD 4x4 running just basic stuff in the background while playing a game that could sometimes effect my performance. This was because they would either update or something else thus causing problems in games so...
Valve is making some changes to Steam that I feel should have been there a long time ago but better late then never. The update promises "Download Better, Stronger, Faster"
What I have been waiting for is the update while in game for other titles or download and more bandwidth coverage when...
Well at least you got your answer, sorry to hear it wasn't something simple for but hopefully it will be quick and not longer be a problem for you. Hope everything goes better for you dude.
I ran into this today and I know I had to share it with my fellow TG BF lovers enjoy!

I would hold off on the CPU until you get that other video card and get your XFire setup. This way you can see if you really need the 2 additional cores or if the game even supports it, would be nice to have at some point to take the load from your basic apps running however.
Good choice. I always prefer home built over prefab but if you don't have the time or want a warranty sometimes it's the better way to go.
To OJC's house for some Burgers since he has that new grill, I'll bring soda. (c;
This is sounding more and more to me like a grounding issue, do you have a speaker hooked up to the MB for post beeps? If you do it could be running through that speaker try disconnecting it. If it does not return try disabling your onboard audio and putting the speaker back to see if it comes...
TBH it all depends at what res and how far you push the graphics. If your running an i3 with a 460gtx with DX11 at 1400x900 or lower res you should have no problem with High or some Med setting and expect to see 40+ FPS, now if your going with 1920x1080p and all the eye candy that's going take...
Yet another good game company devoured by EA. Wonder how long it will take EA to trade on the good game names that they established and completely ruin them?
My exp with this kind of noise has been with the front audio cable connection for the case plugged into the audio card, when I took it out I never got the noise again, when I put it back same noise came through again.
Rob told me it may not be that simple because it isn't coming through on the...
I got an invite today for it and TBH I am not the impressed of course I don't much care for Facebook either, it's just there to talk to family who don't know any better. Social networking is fine but it feels like Google is more reactive then proactive anymore and all it is a catch up game at...
This is why I don't like playing MP games with strangers, only with ppl I know or have talked with over a period of time. They take the fun out of games, mistakes or bugs are one thing but that would make me rage quit in about 2 sec flat.
File this under another snafu from Gamestop or with a pinch of salt either way here it is.

I too have had my fair share of problems with GFWL and my password, try going to Start > Games and loading up Games for Windows Marketplace and resting your pass through there. I have it linked to my Hotmail, if you have done the same it might be easier to just go that route. Hope that helps.
I have 0 exp with the latest ATI drivers so I can't answer that for you bud, sorry. /c:
I meant about the power draw contrast to your old system, is it much more then you thought it would be or much more efficient?
