Any ideas why windows always sets my wave volume back to 0 after boot-up?

It's usually a restart from installation. It's a new build, didn't you see my photo under "Reader's Rigs"?

I must have something to do with a BIOS setting. I flashed that and reinstalled soundmax. Problem number 7, solved.

I don't think the BIOS had anything to do with it... reinstalling Soundmax did.
