Personally to me its just about money, I have none.
Well, hot-doggy, we might as well be related, because I too have no money either!
However, quite seriously, I deliberately left out mentioning Apple precisely because some people seem to like to bitch at me for liking Apple, which is rather odd since I don't really own any Apple gear, because, for one thing, as I stated above, money I have not.
My pointing out the survey was to reveal that despite all of us living in the 'greatest recession in recorded history,' electronic sales are still surprisingly strong, at least for the moment anyway, and even though PCs sales were generally down across the board, with Apple being the lone exception, I found it quite revealing that sales were as high as they were reported to be! I would have thought, due to the recession, it would have been otherwise.
Will PC sales recover, or is it all down hill from here on, and could we really be seeing the rise of the post PC era as Jobs first predicted? That question was my whole point, and not anything specifically Apple related, but rather the health of the electronic market generally.
