As odd as that cooler is... I love the look of it. Good to see it works well also.

Is it quiet?

Quite quiet.....more so than the stock cooler ( to get the same temps ) In the Nvidia software, you can run the fan up to cool more, but the db's go up also. Now it's 2400 rpm and the PSU can be heard now over everything else....which I don't mind, it's cooling great at a lower decibel.
From 57*C to around 39 to 40*C.
I could tell with the stock cooler when it was over heating, I would get artifacts on screen......so I would go right into the temps to see what it was........under load I bet it got up to 68*C ( 154*F )...thats the point of artifacts.

LOL...checked the temp with the Raytek MiniTemp and the card is running at 39*C at the hotest place. Just happened to check the LCD screen on the monitor and its at 41*C.
So, the card is running cooler than the monitor screen.
Nice, very nice
Note: as it was with the stock cooler on the 8800GT, waas at 65*C or 149*F.
So a total drop of 29*C from stock to Duorb.
One other thing, I didnt use the heatsinks that came with the Duorb, I used the Zalman VGA ram heatsinks
The heatsinks that came with it didnt stick very well.
And a new item, Noctua Thermal paste was used on the main heat block.
