DRM really doesn't stop anything, much like the existence of the SEC doesn't really stop fraud, and speed limits don't prevent speeding or encourage safe driving. It just makes things a bit more tough on the rest of us, and I would argue necessarily.

You've got to be kidding me...

I downloaded this game on Steam last week, in hopes that it might be cool enough to introduce into our GPU suite. I have a strict rule that the Internet must be disabled during benchmarking, so this kind of screws things up there. This is getting seriously depressing, because the way things are going, if I want to benchmark any game, I'm almost going to be <em>forced</em> to crack it. Ugh, thanks a lot, Ubisoft.
