Teen gets 18 months in prison for worm..

A federal judge on Friday sentenced a 19-year-old Minnesota man to 18 months in prison for unleashing a variant of the MSBlast worm.

About time we seen an end to this case. Hope they start giving out the same punishment to spammers. Spam bugs me for than trojans!

Amen. I worked 4 19 hour days due to that damn msblast.exe worm. Then, the spammers arrived in full force. Thank god for business accounts on my ISP.

If i remember correctly this was the case of the guy who basically worked in through a backdoor to windows... And then basically just brought up a window saying somethign to the effect that microsoft should beta/do a better beta before releasing its product.

If this is infact that case... Thats unbelievable! They havent done shit to spammers and aware companies even near this... But this guy who simply makes his case to microsoft in an international cry... He get all of this? Thats @#$%ed up. If this is what they give him, then they should give all those guy twice this as punishment...
