As if Intel's new Sandy Bridge processors couldn't get any bigger, Acer has announced that they plan to launch two or three new tablets based on the 2nd generation core architecture.

That photo makes it look like a digital picture frame...

Using all four cores is one thing, but using them effectively? Can Android even make use of high-end processing cores, or does it treat them like basic processing units? Because I can't see a need for that sort of processing muscle... will have to keep my eye on how those pan out.
