Running Dual Graphic Cards

I am new at this, so forgive me.

I want to run dual 8800GT 512MB cards on my machine. Can I just plug the second card in, or do I need to connect the cards some how? My current setup is:

780I motherboard
Q6600 CPU
8g (4x2g) DDR PC6400
635 sigma shark P/S
8800GT 512MB
Coolmaster Cosmo Case
32Bit Vista

You'll need the SLI bridge that came with your motherboard.

Yes, that's all you need. If the bridge didn't come with the motherboard for some reason, then one should have come with one of the GPUs.
