... just now getting myself collected today after a hell-ish drive 4 hour drive in a rain storm. The 4 hours became 9:(:eek:

Happy π day!

Hard to believe that something so seemingly simple in math is so complex. Not sure I could eat that pie, though... it looks like it's bleeding!

Pi Day can not be celebrated in the UK due to a mathematical failure of the calendar system for there aren't 14 months in a year (Day/Month/Year), so the earliest that we can celebrate Pi day is 3/1/41, January 3rd, 2041, so we have 31 years of preparation for a really big Pie.

However, we may celebrate the Golden Ratio, Phi (φ), much sooner, June 1st, 2018 at 03:39am (1.6180339), but you guys get to celebrate it sooner on January 6th, 2018.... I doubt there would be Golden Ratio day though...

It is also Einstein's b'day ... although I wonder if a circle was more of an oval to him.
