Patriots vs. Colts

I've been long overdue forever, but this past weekend, I saw my first NFL game, featuring the Indianapolis Colts (favorite team) and New England Patriots (rival team). Friends I went with are massive Pats fans, so you could say I was taunted a lot! In the end, the Colts lost by literally one throw, but it was a wicked game nonetheless (and super cold!).

Unfortunately, I didn't only bring a loss back home, but also what looks to be the flu. Friend had it, so the fact that I caught it is of little surprise. This week is going to kick off a little slow for the site since I can barely focus on anything, but I hope this will pass soon

Here are some pics :D

I lent out the larger lense :(

I'll make it up with this story.

Friends and I spent a couple of days in the heart of Boston, and on Sunday morning checked out of the hotel and went to the car to head to Foxboro for the game. Being that I was wearing a Manning jersey in Boston, I knew that it'd only be a matter of time before I felt the side-effects, and boy, it didn't take long.

No more than two steps outside of the hotel, a homeless man approached me.

Homeless Man: *points at my jersey* "Is that Peyton?"
Me: "Huh?"
HM: "Is that Peyton?"
Me: "Yeah."
HM: "HE SUCKS!"

Yeah, there is no such ridicule that my friends could dish out to beat that.

Points for having the guts to wear rival colours anywhere in Mass.

This game put me 10-5 instead of 11-4 in this week's pool.

For colds:
Stir a tablespoon of honey into a cup of boiling water with 1/2 oz. lemon juice. Measure out 2 oz. of Geneva gin and drink. Repeat as necessary. Forget completely about cold and cup with spoon in it on kitchen counter.
