Whether you are looking to add some eye-candy to your machine, or want full control over your cooling system, adding in a robust fan controller isn't a bad idea. One of the best we've seen to date is NZXT's Sentry LX, which we happen to be taking a look at here. It's well-priced, looks good and works well... three things we like to see with any product.

You can read Bill's full review here and discuss it here!

Thanks for the review on the fan controller. Quick question, do you have any details on the "Auto" setting and the logic it uses?

At present the only controller I'm aware of with settable 100% temps is the Hardcano 13 from Thermaltake which I have in my main box. I also have a Silverstone FP52 which has arbitrary limits not able to be changed, and a Zalman MFC2 which is only manually adjustable.

Cheers,

You cannot change the settings for "Auto". In fact, I did not notice any difference in my testing since the case I used already had quiet fans and my temps stayed low all by themselves. "Auto" is somewhat gimmicky on this controller, but the other features it has makes up for that.
