No cash to buy an iPad? Build your own!

In China, a dude didn't have enough cash to buy his girlfriend an iPad, so he decided to build her the best replacement possible for just over $100:

It runs Windows 7, and I like one of the highest rated comments on Yahoo for this article: "He's building iPads from scratch, and our youth can't read or write, and we wonder why we're going down and China's going up."

Sad, but true.
