Man Gets 30 Months for Selling Pirated Games

It should be clear that the "crime doesn't pay" motto is a good one, but some people just can't see the light before it's too late. Piracy is a major problem... it's no secret, and no company wants to see their software, games, movies and likewise downloaded for free off of the Internet. What do they hate even worse? The pirated copies being sold, of course.

It's worth pointing out that if you do buy something off ebay and it's definitely not genuine, just threaten to send their information onto the police unless they give you a refund... Family and friends have done this and it usually works. If they don't reply or they get real cocky about it, well, i'll leave that to your imagination...

Downloading for private use is one thing, but to duplicate and sell after...i have no sympathy at all...

He didn't mean that at all. It's one thing to steal a game because you're too cheap to pay for it, but it's another to steal a game you had nothing to do with and then make money off of it.
