Kinect-enabled Xbox Live Dashboard Update Released

After months of speculation and beta-testing, Microsoft updated the Xbox Live Dashboard earlier today, so the next time you hop onto the service, you'll be prompted to install it. The major feature of this update is to enable Kinect support, but there are a couple of other notable introductions as well, such as ESPN content streaming, Netflix search, support for Zune pass and more.

I know that this has nothing to do with Microsoft's motion based offering but I had to post it considering everybody is trying to play catch up with the Wii.

I hate to keep harping on Nintendo, but it chooses the worst names out there, bar none.

Case in point:

Donkey Kong Country Returns
Mario Kart Wii
Mario Party
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Wii Sports

To name a few.

I can handle Mario Party but it's like their marketing department has a bunch of 12 year olds running the show. My apologies to 12 year old children everywhere.
