I read so much stuff during the month and I am never sure what might be of interest.
Personally I hate bike helmets, I am one of those that survived those days "back in the day" (there were no bike helmets), but this looks like something that can evolve into something that makes perfect sense.
Oh, and I want to point to the use of inexpensive accelerometers which is what actually caught my eye. Having watched people (like my son) play video games & seeing him jerk all around, I imagine attaching accelerometers to a regular office chair on casters to pick on all of his movements when playing a 1st person shoot 'em up game. That should give an additional & affordable level of feedback to the gaming system ... just my imagination tho.
