So, here's a pet peeve of mine: USB devices that just up and decide to stop working in a particular port.
WD's MyPassport 2TB, for example. It's a USB 3.0 device, and no longer works when plugged into the USB 3.0 port on my PC. It doesn't work in a second PC's USB 3.0 port. It works just fine with the USB 2.0 ports.
A Kingston thumb drive I have, a USB 2.0 small one, once stopped working in this particular PC, but it worked in all others. For some reason, it's begun working in this one again.
Another Kingston, the Ultimate G2 3.0. Works once in a while when plugged into the USB 3.0 port.
These issues are not related to a specific PC, or a specific USB protocol (3 or 2). Have any of you ever experienced this madness?
