GIGABYTE had lots to show off during CES, including its new G1 motherboard line-up, complete with onboard X-Fi audio and Killer E2100 networking... and also a bullet. In addition, the company talked about some of its overclocking-related motherboard technologies, along with its upcoming gaming peripherals and graphics cards.

As Rob mentioned in the article Gigabyte hasn't totally changed their motherboard designs, the lower end models still retain the blue/white color schemes. Gigabyte is seriously amping up the aesthetics & presentation of their various models though.

It is very unfortunate Gigabyte doesn't appear to have utilized any EFI BIOS designs on any of their products. The advantages are numerous, although the much decreased boot times are probably the most tangible difference...

I admit that I haven't tested out a P67 GIGABYTE board up to this point, but I've heard the same thing. According to the company, the boards can be upgraded to EFI down the road with an update, but I'm not too sure about that.

ASUS was REALLY on top of things to deliver not only a EFI solution, but one that kicks a ton of ass.
