Experience with Corsair RMA

Anyone here have any experiences with a Corsair RMA? I built my friend a computer a couple of months ago and we had some Dominators running in there. One of the sticks bit the dust about 2 weeks ago. I am considering RMAing it, but my friend would really hate to stay without RAM for a long time, and he cannot afford a temporary replacement.

I've never dealt with their RMA, but I know Corsair well enough to assume that you're going to get pretty good service. They don't outsource anything that I'm aware of, so the duration of waiting shouldn't be too bad. If only one stick died, they might not need the other one. Just explain them your situation and see what they say.

I sent one in a few weeks ago, they told me that since they were purchased at a set they needed to be returned as a set. I just told them no or give me a coupon so I can buy more ram, so they approved the RMA and about a week later they emailed me saying that my replacement was outbound. Overall time frame is about 2 weeks. I've done it before and don't have any worries. I will always buy Corsair.

Oh sorry, didn't notice you replied. It went extremely well actually. Called them up, set up an RMA, sent the sticks to them, and brand new ones were sent to me in exactly 2 weeks (considering my shipping took 5 business days, they essentially took 5 business days too, or 1 week). Superb service!
