Yeah, that's the first problem. I remember in 2004 I went to a concert in LA and wasn't allowed to bring in my pen... yes, pen, as in a writing utensil. Here they can get in with knives :-/

Yup, it's ridiculous. Egypt's PM looks to have disbanded the Egyptian FA, and FIFA is looking into matters to see just how something like this could happen. The fact that people were able to get in with knives might be the first place to look...

I really don't know why they would want to do anything like that. I understand being angry, despondent, etc. but violence won't solve anything.
