Well this is rather interesting. In order to help solve a case of a murdered 15-year-old, Dutch police have singled out 8,080 men who lived in the area at the time and has asked them to donate a DNA sample. While a direct match might not be found, a partial match could be, leading the police to a family member that was the killer.
These men have the option to refuse giving a sample, seemingly without a caveat. Just how true that is, I'm not sure.
I'm divided on whether or not I'd provide the DNA sample. I'm never too thrilled with A) the government overstepping its boundries and B) being singled-out at all when I didn't do anything. It's hard to say.
What about you guys?
