Curious why do people need a laptop?

I like the idea of laptops... really i do. And with emulators lettting you play games from w/e oldschool console I REALLY like the idea of laptops for trips now... So why dont i own one?

I have small finger and HUGE palms... using a touch pad for a mouse and a smaller keyboard sux ass. Give me an alternative to the touch and a better fitting keyboard and id be in love. Tablet PC anyone?

I use mine mostly at work. It is nice to have a backup if your desktop crashes.

If you have never used a notebook computer, you know nothing of what we talk about. I dont care if you can game on it or not, give me a PIII notebook and I will be happy. The mobility of them is amazing. That and I can take them with me to the bathroom...
