This is an incredible deal if you are looking for a new GPU. It requires a mail in rebate, but after it's all said and done, that's a steal. Not sure how long they will last.

My sister lives in the US so I could give it a try but I would probably get charged up the "a" with duty.

If it's sent as a gift with a value of > $50, you won't get charged duty. It's still a pain in the ass though, because customs tends to hold things before they hand it over.

For us Canadians PC Canada has the X1900XT for $394.99CAD after a $100 of savings till Aug. 31.

NCIX.com also reduced the price to around $416.97CAD.

Yeah, we are price gauged bad. Not as bad as EU and AUS though... for that I am thankful. I remember paying $530 CAN for my 7800GT at the time it was new... and then $80 for duty. Last time I ever ordered from a US store :-/
