Regardless at $6,000 a drive....That is the price of an almost-new car. A year from now half the price of an almost-new car is still half the price of an almost-new car! :p

Call me selfish, but I'm more hoping that is the case of DDR3! :D
Even if $200 was considered a great price for DDR2 at the start of 2007, it just seems wrong now when everyone points out 8GB of DDR2 can be had for 2GB of DDR3.

I agree... it's very hard to contemplate that only one-year-ago... DDR2 was far more expensive to purchase. It was one incredibly fast decline, that's for sure.
