Advice for Memory Upgrade?!

Hi folks, i love to do video editing with adobe premiere, but as videos are recorded more often in HD even from my smartphone i feel like there is not enough power anymore. My system is Biostar Hi-Fi A85W motherboard with AMD A8-6500 and 4 GB DDR3.

Now i am wondering if a memory upgrade to 8 GB would really make sense in that case? Or could it be a too slow CPU?

looking forward from your knowledge about this..Thanks!

you motherboard supports up to 32 gb so you can add another 4 GB without any problems. the cpu seems to be fast enough for now. so i think that could be a good investment.

4GB is actually quite a small amount of memory nowadays, especially for video editing. An upgrade could definitely help, but what you want to do is run a program like AIDA64 that can monitor your RAM usage during your usual processing. If the RAM Adobe has allocated (in the settings) isn't being saturated, there isn't too much reason to upgrade.
