    Most Under-rated Games

Ah, good old X-COM! The first one was so much better than all that followed... ich... Terror From The Deep... blech!

Converting an internal into an external harddrive... possible?

And if you use USB2.0, IEEE1394 or external SATA to connect the enclosure, you won't notice the difference in speed w/ a PATA drive.

    Most Under-rated Games

Well, let me see here... Age Of Wonders - Shadow Magic: Gotta love then TBS! This is a very clean, simple to learn fantasy TBS. But once you get playing it, there is so much more complexity than most! It puts the HoMM games to shame. Other than that, I can't really think of any game's I'd...

    my new beasty

I definatly would, as I don't travel w/ my computer. In fact, been thinking about doing it for a while. Just never got around to it!

    A+ Certification Guide

Oh! And the "Exam Guide" and "Exam Cram" books are great for both tests.

    A+ Certification Guide

I have both the A+ & N+. The A+ was stoopid simple. Absolutely nothing to it. The N+ was a bit more work, but if you know much about networks (not just talking RJ45/IP-based here, though) it should be a snap. A lot of it is just basic topology & good-practice junk.

    Edler Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Well, that's pretty much the exact same rig I'm running. Except I have an ATI 9800 Pro 128mb. It will run it, but I have no idea how well. Here's to hoping!!!!

    my new beasty

That's very sweet! But ya see, it's still basically the same as having a second case sitting there. Not that I, personally, have a problem with that. But I think, in general, it looks less "elegant", or "clean" than having an internal system.

    XP or Vista

I know, same here. But I was replying to Sledgehammer70's original post.

    Problem With USB

Here's a question. How long is the extender? And how long is the original cable that you're using with the extender?

    Extra 120mm front fan.

Don't I know that feeling! I've always got 2-3 projects just sitting around. Sometimes seems like I never get any of them finished.

    Coolest keyboard ever?

You can put anything you want on the keys of the Optimus. All the keys are OLED's & fully programable (picture & function) from software. They just released a 6-key version for ~$100. Very sweet, but oh, the cost! ;)

I don't think there's any room left in that case for the resevoir/radiator! Of course, you can always go external, but it's no where near as elegant.

nVidia Buys ULi, Could This Mean Troubles For ATI?

Well, all the reviews/previews I've see so far of the R580, it seems like it performs just as well as the nForce4. Plus, if they don't make a chipset, who will they get to make one that supports CrossFire for them? It's too high-end for VIA & SiS, AMD would never do it & Intel doesn't want to...

    Logitech Speakers (5.1)

Yup! I've been running the X-530's for about a year now. And DAMN, they're sweet! Very loud, almost no distortion at higher volumes & tonnes of bass. Love it!

    Onboard card died last night.

Why be sorry? The lucky bugger has an X-Fi!!! Who cares about the onboard?!?!

    sound cards

The problem with almost all of the add-on cards, I've found, is the amount of CPU load they add. I'd rather use a built-on card (playing MP3s while gaming). Or, buy an X-Fi. If you have the $$$. /me drools... X-Fi...

    Extra 120mm front fan.

Actually, I think you'd be better to use the heavier mesh. If you use something too light, you end up w/ vibrations from the fan. As it is, make sure you use something to space the mesh from the case edge. Otherwise, the fan can make some interesting noise! Even with a real low speed 120mm...
