Fractal Design Define R3 Mid-Tower Chassis Review

No worries. It's indeed a terrific cooler, to say the least. I love mine. As it is right now sits well with my setup. But I can indeed see the problem. It's not clear either why they would choose to make the door this way (particularly the 90 degree angle), even for a budget machine...

EA Launches Latest Cash Grab: 'Season Ticket'

Pay to try before you buy? Now, that's something! This and all other amazing (not!) things made available to us because folks really embraced online shopping. Retail is evil, really? They charge you more off the shelf, really? How about that? It's been close to 10 years or something like that...

Fractal Design Define R3 Mid-Tower Chassis Review

Excellent Greg! Thanks so much for the review. I was very impressed with the case. It's funny how we can sometimes like opposite ends equally. With the ostentatious Thermaltake Level 10 GT I was excited at the flaring design. With this Fractal Design Define R3 I was completely sold on the sober...

Has Blizzard sold its soul to the Devil Diablo!!

Indeed. It's not by chance those are called the golden years of pc gaming.

Has Blizzard sold its soul to the Devil Diablo!!

I'm very tempted at not buying. But then again D3 is indeed one of those games I've been waiting so long I can almost taste it. Really divided here. It angers me being put in this position by a company I used to trust and of which I never missed a game since Vikings (WoW being the exception)...

Has Blizzard sold its soul to the Devil Diablo!!

BTW, as I've been reading more on the subject I also learned that D3 will not allow mods. Of any kind. This is very bad news. Not so much because I care about mods (more often than not i'm not much into it). But because this means hacking the stash/inventory size will probably be very difficult...

The Future Of Our TVs: 4K Resolution?

Not sure what to say Rob other than being an annoyance. I've been known to say for a while now -- perhaps unfairly -- that I'm finally "coming of age" on what concerns the so-called technological advancements. That is to say, I'm hard to impress these days, as most of what I see I tend to...

Has Blizzard sold its soul to the Devil Diablo!!

You and I, friend. You and I... Just another confirmation of what I always say: No need to get all fired up and barrack for gaming companies as if them and the people within were some kind godlike figures worth our adoration. They sell you a product and you pay money for that product. That's...

AC Ryan Playon!HD Mini 2 Review

Excellent review. Thanks. The most complete I've seen. Still not my type of device. I prefer the "old fashioned" way of building my own HTPC. But the fact you have a picture of Reservoir Dogs has earned you a review of the month award :p EDIT: I really, really, appreciate the fact you guys...

    Are Internet Explorer Users Dumb?

Many other factors contribute. IE is used by most of Fortune 500 companies and make no mistake by the majority of the wealthiest men and women of the planet. It's used in universities by teachers and students alike. It's an official browser of many governments, staff and politicians. It's used...

Dice Game Targeted By 20th Century Fox

    >> Let's just hope he doesn't need to start another Kickstarter project to help pay the legal fees. Very true. I won't contribute... In fact he should be thankful. There's no money that can pay this kind of publicity. Especially when we consider he can actually change the name if he wants...

    Are Internet Explorer Users Dumb?

    >> While I don't consider such a survey to be very scientific, the results are interesting nonetheless. No, they aren't :) In fact the survey shows a certain lack of intelligence of those that conducted it. "Correlation does not imply causation" is the number-one rule of statistics. The fact...

    What is NASA?

I appreciate him more for his irreverence in that he's not afraid of discussing touchy subjects. He did once a impressive 40 minute talk where he "accuses" 80% of the top world scientists of delegating to god's design everything they can't explain yet, and then proceeds to hammer down...

    Weird Problem

I see no trace of Afterburner either on the tray or on my processes list after I close it. can it be that AIDA64 doesn't update correctly after I close Afterburner? I know this if off-topic. But the original problem is solved anyways. :) Just got curious because I never knew MSI Afterburner...

    Weird Problem

Hmm... now I'm confused. When I use MSI (granted it's not something I use often) I just set an OC, apply it and then close the program. My OC stays activated until I reboot, at least judging from AIDA64 reporting.

    Weird Problem

Can't you just use MSI to OC the card and then exit it, or you need the the other functionality? I can't say I ever used it for anything other than OC. I then use FRAPS for recording or OSD.

Humble Bundle 3 Available - 5 Great Games, Your Price

I would normally consider a donation too and would just gift it to someone. I lost count to how much money I spent like that. But I'm going through rough times myself. It all happened very fast and very recently. Heck, probably will have to cancel my own project if things stay as grim as they...
