    What is NASA?

This I cannot agree. Not just because I actually don't think overpopulation is an issue, but also because I don't see how this could be implemented without bringing serious issues of human rights breaching. It would also have to be seen what kind of legislation would have to be passed, the type...

The Curse of the 100°C CPU

Hehe! Wasn't thinking on something so drastic. But if that works, that works. You know when two fans sitting close together, one in and the other out, will sort of cancel each other, reducing air flow to a small portion of the case? Well, that's more or less what you would want to happen if for...

The Curse of the 100°C CPU

Getting another fan to act as intake close to the liquid exhaust fan, could eliminate any loss (if you experience any) of moving the liquid fan to outtake. Most of the air being pushed in would immediately be sucked out.

    AMD Begins Producing DDR3 Memory

Interesting bit of news. Thanks. Wasn't AMD already selling DDR3 chips to its hardware partners for their cheaper cards? I seem to remember AMD actually manufactures these chips for some time. They weren't part of their consumer line though... until now. These models aren't exciting at all...

    What is NASA?

I think we are still a long way from Mars. The major problem being transporting building materials (not necessarily raw materials since those can be obtained locally) in order to populate the planet in a manner that could justify a repopulation program to solve Earth's over population. The costs...

    Yes. We'd better.

Has Blizzard sold its soul to the Devil Diablo!!

Of course. Video games are to be celebrated... but not. Someone complaining about something is always a hopeless freak, too weak to detach themselves from the thing he's complaining about. Whereas someone celebrating a game or choosing not to complain about it shows no sign of being a slave to...

Has Blizzard sold its soul to the Devil Diablo!!

The problem with that is, should I lose out on this game? The "vote with your wallet" argument is not a replacement for the need many of us feel to complain about a decision that is entirely gratuitous from where we stand as players. There's no reason why a SP mode has to be always online on a...

    Borderlands 2 Announced

Well I kind of agreed with everything you said about that. It's going to bring a few more RPG elements into borderlands. But I think would be well worth it. Another thing that crossed my mind was vehicle parts/accessories and making vehicles a more integral part of the character development...

    Skyrim Collectors Edition

Love Collector editions. But as usual we Europeans get screwed over the price. 150 USD = 105 Euros, not 150 as it will be charged. 150 USD = 91 Pounds, not 130 as it will be charged. And Aussies get the shaft 150 USD = 143 AUD, not 200 AUD as it will be charged. Anyways, looks like a...

Humble Bundle 3 Adds Bonus Games; Adds HB2 Special

Oh, folks. Totally get this one now if you don't own Steel Storm. It's a great top-down shooter like you haven't seen before. It's lots of fun, has excellent AI, co-op and competitive multiplayer modes, great graphics (funny we also be talking about Borderlands, since the graphics technology is...

Linus Torvalds Moves from GNOME to Xfce

    >> It's still unfortunate that this is sometimes forced given that many developers don't seem to listen to the regular users who have called their desktop environment home. Totally in agreement! We've discussed this before, but I will never tire of saying it or hearing anyone else saying it and...

    Borderlands 2 Announced

What do you mean here, Rob? More different types of items, or making items at machines more interesting to purchase? The thing I felt about Borderlands item collection was that -- no doubt due by the FPS aspect of the game -- it was too limited. As such those machines were pretty much useless...

    Borderlands 2 Announced

Well, I'm hoping the weapon random generator isn't so generic it hardly matters, as was the case with the first game. It was up to certain unique weapons to fill the void of what was mostly a rather unexciting weapon generation system.

    I Ascared! Thermaltake Frio GT

Wow! That's insane :) They chose an interesting name, btw. Frio and Frío are the modern Portuguese and Spanish words respectively for cold, derived from the Latin frigo. Meanwhile, Frio is also the latin for "break into parts".
