Trust me, 500W is plenty of power. You would need no more than 350W, so if there is a power problem, it's your particular PSU. I am using a 400W, and it's more than enough power for everything in the sig.

No idea since I didn't use it, but I am sure the quality difference is there. I am currently using an IceMat Siberia and am quite impressed with it as well. For budget, I'd choose the headset in this review, but for three times the money, I'd try the Altec Lansing or IceMat.

Haha. I always use Alcohol and a Q-Tip. I then use some paper towel and Alcohol to really clean the surfaces well. Heatsinks don't usually take well to Budweiser though.
