I think Dual Core will be more useful before x64 will be. It will take a while before game developers release native 64-Bit games/apps.

I've been using 32-Bit and 64-Bit Windows equally since earlier this year, and I still have a hard time recommending x64 right now. I have a lot of software that will not run in x64.

Without question, return one of the memory sets. You have *nothing* that would take advantage of even 3GB... 2GB is more than enough. XP Pro. I use x64 and many regular apps will not work with it, so just skip over it.

Hmm. I had no issues at all.. what version of Windows are you running? Not that it should matter, I would make sure the jumper settings on the drive are set to Master. This is foolish, but make sure that the power cord inside the enclosure is properly connected to the drive.
