But you could fit it in your cleavage man.

    Killer NIC

I'd love to know what made this guy dream up this idea. "Yeah, I was here playing this game and the lag was bad. Instantly I knew a gigantic card with a blade heatsink and Linux needed to be developed. These ideas just come naturally to me." *not real quote*

Nikon Coolpix S6 6.0MP Digital Camera

We've taken a good look at a few Coolpix models in the past, but none were like this. The S6 is as sleek as they come, and can easily fit into any pocket for transport. Does it's small size detract from it's image quality? You can read the full review here and then discuss it here!

    Killer NIC

That'd be a Killer DIC. I am still confused by this network card though, and reading around, it doesn't seem anyone else is impressed either. To be honest, I don't think I've seen -one- nice comment about it so far.

    iolo System Mechanic Pro 6

Personally, for a Windows Firewall I have always enjoyed McAfee. I wouldn't recommend SM6's just for the sake of the rest of the application being unstable. You may run into similar problems with the firewall... I am not sure. Strange that ZA would slow down your PC though. I've heard of weird...

    Killer NIC

No need to be democratic. At least AGEIA had some great demos to show... they promised great physics. Something people wanted. Better pings? Please. The only people who would -really benefit are on dial-up. No piece of hardware is going to help them there. The only reason I'd even remotely...

    Killer NIC

Just finished reading this article over at Legit Reviews... and I have to say this product is freaking hilarious. A NIC... running on Linux will reduce my ping drastically? Maybe so, but for $270US? I'd rather buy a new GPU... or set up SLI. This crap makes the AGEIA card look like a steal...

    Western Digital 500GB RE2

The only 7200.10 I have is in my main machine, which is why I didn't use it. If I had a 500GB 7200.10 on hand, it would have been used. Since I don't, it's not possible. Sorry if you disagree, but both drives are still in the same pricerange, so I felt it was a fair comparison.

    OCZ 2GB PC2-7200 EPP Platinum

OCZ has been launching some amazing kits lately, and this one is no exception. In our tests, we have managed to bring this modest DDR2-900 up to DDR2-1140 speeds and still retain some great stability. Read the review and then discuss it in this thread!

    Advice on Memory Upgrade

Yes... it seems it's definitely a 'per kit' basis. I have run three kits so far today at DDR2-800 with 1T reliably, with only 1.9v. It's luck more than likely. If you are not going to be overclocking, there should be no issue with the 3GB of ram, unless you can manage 1T with your 2GB kit...

    Advice on Memory Upgrade

Yes, the difference between 1T and 2T in gaming is minimal. If you'd ever notice the difference, it would likely be when you have a lot going on at once, or multimedia production. Or similar. I am not sure about SANDRAs exagerations, but Everest reports similar figures also. Like I said...

    Advice on Memory Upgrade

Welcome to the forums! The quote from me is true... it's usually how it works. Higher than DDR2-800 with 1T is possible, but you will need much more voltage. At that point though, higher frequencies will offset the loss from 1T. If you don't want to overclock, which I don't assume you do...

Anyone know what program is hijacking me?

I have always used Adaware/Spybot/Defender and The Cleaner, personally. The cleaner is a trial, but it lasts 30 days. Usually I only needed to use it once per install anyway.

    Sabayon Linux RC2

What do you mean by experimental drivers? If you mean by kernel drivers, then yes a few I am sure. For instance, sky2 is still considered experimental, even 8 months after it's been debuted in the kernel. I didn't go hardcore with the info in the article because this is a rather simple distro...
