    E3 2006

No doubt man. It's really going make a scene with the controller design and allowing the downloading of past game titles. I just don't like the name. Other than that I do believe Nintendo will come out with an awesome product, as usual, and the true Nintendo followers will embrace it.

Single Core AMD's to have price drop..

That's one thing I've been thinking about. XP can run on a 233mhz with 128mb ram. I've personally installed it on something even worse than that and with a few tweaks it ran fairly smoothly. Now if MS is going to release an OS that's MORE resource hungry, that just means more cost for pc makers...

Single Core AMD's to have price drop..

I think that's what I meant.. Single cores for those who don't do much, dual cores for us that want/need the performance. Sorry if I didn't make that clearer.

    Evercool VC-RE Cooler

This is an awesome heatsink for you're NF4 board! I've just acquired one last week and practically rebuilt my pc after installing it. My northbridge was sitting anywhere between 40-50c before and with this sink, EVEN with 2 7800GTs which have AC5s, the chip is between 37-45. That's with the side...

Single Core AMD's to have price drop..

Single cores are an excellent breed. Even with more and more apps/games/etc leaning toward dual core architechture, the singles still have a market. Average users don't need or won't need a dual core processor for years to come. Most of the pc's being sold today don't do much more than surf the...

    My first overclock!

You can find a decent vga cooler for your card between 20 and 30 smackers. An Arctic Cooler 5 on Ebay is about 30ish. There's some others used, up for bid. The Zalman vga coolers on Newegg are about that much. A little more for the newer models. I'd definitely look into another cooler if you...

    AGEIA PhysX.. First Thoughts

The newer cards can handle upwards of 40Gigabits/s bandwidth between it and the cpu. The Pci-x 16x slots can handle 80Gbps of encoded data, or 64Gbps unencoded. That's gigabits, not gigabytes. You're looking at 8GB unencoded and about 9GB of encoded data per second, for a 16x card, max. The...

    Nintendo Wii

This is very much a rediculous name.. I mean seriously, if you've got to explain and tell potential customers how to pronounce your product. Then it might be a good idea to change the name. I think this rightfully explains how most feel. Although it'll be officially the Wii, I'm going to still...

    Gas Prices

One thing about it, once we tap the federal reserve, that's just more oil we'll have to replace later on. It's hard enough to keep people in supply, let alone the reserve. The government really needs to take a look at where this is going and put a stop to it. Gas prices in Venezuela are less...

    Gas Prices

Prices went up today to $3.10 for the cheap stuff. Summer's coming up and they'll rise even more.

    Contest winners thread

Just thanking again OCZ and TechGage for having an awesome First Anniversary party. With a bunch of help from Rob I was able to get some tests done and the system running smoothly at this speed. A little more oomph got the ram up to PC4000 speeds. 250Mhz @ 3.33v which ran Memtest 300% without...

Daewoo Develops Working Holographic Storage Device

It's neat to see technology displayed in sci-fi shows, and movies, being created and working today. I'm quite impressed with the data so far, and will try to keep up with this technology. I've always liked a lot of the futuristic shows. Star-Trek, TNG. Stuff that really made you wonder what's...

    Thermaltake Armor VA8000B

I <3 this case. I've never had a full tower before and it's been great working with the Armor. There's just so much room in there :)! The Ultra X2 I have stays cool even with the drive cage in front of it. I've kept the cage off, but since adding my SATA drive, I decided to use the top cage. I...

Do you still have a floppy drive?

I did mean flash drives at the time. Sorry about that. I was thinking about my father's computer and how he still used a zip drive, at the time. lol :D

    Logitech MX610 Cordless Laser Mouse

Thanks for clearing that up. I was under the impression the 610 had a LED, similar to other Logitech optical mice, and not an actual laser. I'm going to have to look up that company, 3D-Aura. I love taking things apart lol!

    "Where Vista Fails"

I was quite impressed with the first views of Vista. The reversable windows, the imbedded graphics. It was going to be quite an OS. I even had the Longhorn theme for XP which was really nice. Then I read an article about how there was so much coding in Vista, and that it took too many processes...
