Depending on the memory IC's that they use on the cards, I'm sure that they'll OC very well........;) Depending on cooling, most all Nvidia cards clock rather well.

I've got the retail version, but my issue is that they have some funky activation junk and this copy has already been installed a few times and I don't feel like dealing with the fools over the phone as to who, what and all the other crap abput what happened to the installs.

Nice enough speaker system I guess.........;) As much as I would like to get a better set of PC speakers, there's no way I could justify paying $300 for a set, for that price I'd rather spend it on a Quad core CPU.

I started the original and got bpred with it, then lost the install doe to a reformat and never got around to playing it again.

Same basic panel that's in my el-cheapo Soyo, except mine is made by AUO ((M24E14 S-PVA) and not Samsung (S-PVA LTM240CS01).........:) IAW the chart I was looking at Gateway uses mainly Samsung panels, at least on the better non-TN displays.

You should be pretty happy with the display I think, it has just about every option a display can come with...........;) Dell 2408WFP, 6ms G2G, 24"WS Samsung S-PVA Same type of panel that the Gateway you just reviewed comes with.

It should load fine on you're new rigs (dual Boot) without to much problems..............;) If you don't mind dual booting that is. I'm still sort of new at this Linux thing, but if a nasty old fart like myself can figure it out, most everyone should beable to as well......:)

Just a little info for you if you're still having issues with hardware, the newest update to Ubuntu (Hardy Heron) is now at Alpha 6 in it's build cycle with it supposed to go finial next month in April. The newest release should fully support all the latest hardware (or at least I would think it...

Impressive display to say the least, something I can only dream of owning myself, but we all have to have a dream or 2 I guess.............;) I didn't notice if you tested the display with any FPS games or how it worked with them, but I could have missed it while I was cleaning up the mess on...

I use Diskeeper myself as well, just can't remember for the life of me where I got the program though..........;)

Still plenty of good cheap displays out there on the market, sounds like Asus tried to cut to many corners on this one to save a penny............:D
