For a inexpensive upgrade, I recommend it all the time, but they also only have a 1 year warranty, which is sort of a deal liller for alot of folks in this day of extended warranties. But if someone have the extra cash, Samsung is one of my fav pics followed by Dell and Gateway...

Pretty much knew that this would happen, without any sort of real competition, it always does (can you say price gouging). I'm not going to even worry about the things myself, my old trusty DVD player serves me just fine for the time being.

These (G92 cards) are just a stop gap measure to hold Nvidia over for awhile (my opinion) as they really don't need anything all that drastic to keep ahead of AMD/ATi right now. Wehen and if AMD/ATi brings anything competitive to the market, I'm sure that Nvidia already has something to counter it.

If I remember correctly the Dells (Samsung panels) have a type of overdrive that helps eliminate/improve gaming and the like on their panels, so with any luck you won't have any issues. I know I have a little ghosting on my Soyo at 6ms, but it's a basic display, there's no type of overdrive or...

It's just like the old 7950GX2, 2 PCB's clam shelled together along with limited clock setting from Nvidia, sort of like 2 GTS (G92 512) under clocked and stuck together to form one card. Seeing as one GT will beat a 3870, and the GTS beats the GT, it stands to reason that the GX2 should trash...
