having to force 3d performance settings

My driver is also "unsupported" yet I don't have that issue, that's why I was advising you to tell the guy that writes the proggy so that if he runs up against this issue with others he'll know the cause (if he hasn't already)

having to force 3d performance settings

That's an odd issue, you should submit a bug report to the guy that writes RivaTuner so that he's aware of it, I'm using it with my older unsupported drivers and I'm not having that issue.

    SilverStone PSU Muffler

Since it's open on one side out of four, because it's square, it can direct the air in one of four directions. It all depends on how you decide to mount it.

    SilverStone PSU Muffler

It'd be a boon to my rig since I run my rear fans as intakes and I could utilize the muffler not only to muffle the fan on the PSU but also to direct the air upwards away from my rear fans.

    Corsair 2GB XMS PC4000 Platinum

You simply run the ram at 1-1 with the FSB (or HTT) then increase the FSB (or HTT). With an A64 setup you can adjust the multiplier down so that you can even run the proc at stock speeds with the HTT running faster than stock and therefore the memory.

having to force 3d performance settings

Have you looked to see what your core temp is running at? If your card overheats it won't run at full 3D speed and will instead run at the saftey speed. BTW, you can set the saftey speed to whatever you want but generally this is a bad idea since it can contribute to killing your card in the...

Yeah, benchmark stickies would be a good thing.

    Crucial PC3200 2GB Kit

That P4 3.2 will likely be quite a bit faster with the 5600 than the 1.2, considering it's close to 275% faster, has SSE2 and will be running dual channel ram so I wouldn't give up on that card entirely. The 5600 should OC pretty well for even that much more gain and as slow as it may seem it...

    Crucial PC3200 2GB Kit

I honestly wish I had an answer for you but I've never had any experience with that particular chipset but after looking into it a bit I think you'd see far better performance from even the lowly FX5200. The ram itself should be fine with that particular chipset and since it's a full 2 gigs...

    iolo System Mechanic Pro 6

I'm afraid it'd fubar something else, that's why I haven't tried it. It could also work fine until you start Sys Mech and then Sys Mech would neatly put it back in the startup list, I ve seen other programs do that (try that with jusched.exe sometime) and it ends up being a huge frustration.

    iolo System Mechanic Pro 6

I don't use Startup Guard on my PC, personally I don't like having a bunch of things running in the background and, actually, I shut down the tray alerter upon PC boot. If it was possible to disable it altogether I would. I prefer to use Sys Mech as an optimizer for such things as registry...

    Most Wanted demo out!!!

I had a '69 510 wagon with an 1800 triple S motor, it was a fast little blighter. I raced a dude with a brand new '90 Supra and kicked the crap out of him.

    Most Wanted demo out!!!

I played it, the cars are very hard to control with the keyboard, the vehicles in BF2 and BF '42 are way easier (man I love just running down the opposing players with a jeep) so without a steering wheel or a good gamepad it's frustrating as heck. Looks good though.

Arctic Cooling NV Silencer 5 Rev. 3

Judging from his case temp (46C) he might be limited on his oc by the heat. Sarge, you might consider emptying your case out and cutting the stamped fan grills off with a dremel and maybe cutting a couple of fan holes in the door of your case as well as a blowhole on the top of your case to...
